What to get that special nerd in your life?

Dice!
The answer is Dice. They’ll use them all the time, and they’ll think of you fondly when they do. It’s not going to take up much space in their house, but it will take up room in their heart. Plus, math rocks!
But, of course, you got them dice last year. And possibly the year before that. Maybe you’re using dice as a stocking stuffer. Maybe you’re aiming for something bigger or more meaningful.
There’s a whole galaxy of very expensive books, figurines, mats, plushies, keychains, funko-pops, aprons, cookbooks, journals, mugs, dice towers, stamp kits, and socks. I’ve gifted many of them and been gifted them in return. It’s always nice to feel seen. It’s also nice to show off your nerd swag to all your nerd friends. But if there’s a special nerd in your life, I have a gift idea for them that will really blow their socks off. It’s perfect for any budget, and it’s guaranteed to make a Christmas memory.
The Gift
Play with them.
If you’ve never played DnD with them before, give it an enthusiastic try. If you do play DnD with them, run a game for them. If you already run games for them…
Well, then…
There’s always dice!
Don’t listen to this guy. I’ve known him his whole life, and he’s an idiot. The REAL perfect DnD/TTRPG Christmas gift is Doom Desert in the Decanter of Delerium, with a side order of Kung Flurry if ya nasty. Or, if you’re not shopping for gifts, but rather hiding from your family in the washroom looking for blog posts to read, might I recommend the Jump Knight of Yuul for holiday-coded weird fantasy? Or perhaps this recap of our Blood Prairie Playtest?
