Friends, I am unwell today.

Some runny-nosed little goblin finally succeeded in infecting me. I am laid low by an enemy too small to fight. What happened to honour? Virus, you are a coward; get big enough that I can punch you.
All of this is to say, it’s a short blog post this week. I’m too tired for fiction; I’m reduced to facts. We’ll be back next week with a little extra to make up the difference, but in the meantime, here’s a little update on our merry band of gamesters.
Spring Updates
- Our friends at Magnum Galaxy Games are making it look easy again with their killer new Kickstarter for Dying Hard on Hardlight Station: Anthology Edition. Funded in 1 hour! Into six digits, with like a month to go! Incredible! I’ve tried some of the component adventures, so I can recommend this one with my full chest. Even if you’re not into MOTHERSHIP, stop by for a peek. I don’t think I’ve seen a better example of a TTRPG kickstarter by an indie publisher, so if you’re a creator, treat yourself to an educational looksee.
- Speaking personally, I’ve finished our Blood Prairie oneshot ‘Little House on the Blood Prairie’ and run it twice now. Once for Gabriel and Chelsea, once for a local group called GameKicks that meets out of the library. It’s gone well! I’ll be running it at TCTC this year; there’s still room on the waitlist if you’re coming to the con.
- Speaking of Blood Prairie, we are closer than ever to finishing our ashcan version. We’re currently just trying to balance the division of content across a few zines; there’s a lot of material here! Take a look at this wee preview to whet your whistles.

- Gabriel is playing His Majesty the Worm tonight. We’ve talked a bit about it before, while it was still in production; I was very intrigued by the magic system. Its Tarot-based resolution mechanics are also interesting. I’m sure there’ll be a flip-through review on our YouTube before too long.
- We’re coming up on the last session of our most recent run of Megamidden, for Troika, on Wednesdays. Keep an eye out for it at the end of the year. Andrew’s been running a dinosaur-forward Hollow Earth 5e campaign. 5.5e (we can call it that now) has deeply broken the Monk class, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying it. Our Saturday MOTHERSHIP campaign is taking some time off for Shadowdark-related reasons.
And that’s all the news that’s fit to print. I’m going back to bed until the clocks spring forward.
Stay weird, friends. And watch out for germs.
Hey you, with the eyeballs! Yeah, you! Keep reading this blog! I’ve got a big index of our 2025 posts here.
